Video Input Module (VIM) with UTP

The Video Input and Output Modules provide the source of the video for the VideoBloX Cross Point Matrix Switch. Installed in the matrix chassis – each occupying only a single 1/2U slot – they are position independent and can be removed with the power on (hot-swappable). Fabricated from stainless steel, the faceplate and rear termination panels provide both a sophisticated look and improved grounding to reduce static problems. Manufactured from the highest quality components and utilizing surface mount technology, the modules provide near broadcast quality video with minimum of degradation. Advanced circuitry provides protection against overvoltage and on-board power supplies provide uniform power and evenly distributed heat dissipation.

Video Input Modules (VIMs) have capacity for 16 video inputs connected to BNC connectors on the rear terminal connectors. Front panel mounted termination switches and gain adjustment provide easy accessibility for system configuration. They are available in three configurations: 16 inputs being switched into 16, 32 or 64 outputs.

Video Output Modules (VOMs) are available as either eight output or 16 output versions. Convenient access for system configuration. Titling is available – providing up to 24 characters of user defined text positioned in any one of 12 lines. Real time clock provides time and date characters.
