The MaxCom Gold builds on the already impressive feature set of its predecessor, the MaxCom
Pro, providing new and advanced functionality with total backward compatibility. The existing
direct control, single monitor and multi-monitor keyboards, distribution units (8ITP) and all
Honeywell Microspheres offer total flexibility in system design and optimise CCTV operation. The
menu based system allows up to 4 tours per camera with 128 steps per tour. Tour definitions are
stored in MaxCom Gold and uploaded to the Microsphere on completion.
Each of the 16 alarms has user-defined priorities. Menu options include alarm timer, equal priority
alarms, pre-alarm status and buzzer. 16 user access privileges may be set for unique pass code
and allocated access levels.
The MaxCom Gold also has a second RS232 connection for PC configuration. This enables easy
software upgrades to an on board memory. Software upgrades and enhancements may be
e-mailed or downloaded from the web. Both ‘In Coax’ and ‘Twisted Pair’ (RS485) telemetry
control are built in with auto select on all MaxCom Gold matrix switchers. This ensures that the
MaxCom controller provides the solution for most system requirements, even where mixed coaxial
and RS485 data telemetry exist in the same application.
