Honeywell Systems Group Training


Our training program provides installers, dealer partners and end-users with the knowledge and tools necessary to optimally deploy and operate Honeywell security solutions. Our trainers have many years of experience not only as instructors, but also directly in the field.

We have continued working on some updates and improvements to the video and access training programs to enhance the overall learning environment and make it easy for our customers to get the most out of their relationship with Honeywell. We’re dedicated to providing you with the knowledge and tools necessary to optimally deploy and operate your security solutions.

Course Offering and Registration
The following courses are scheduled for Winter 2009 at our Runcorn and Burgess Hill training centres. They are offered free of charge and are of 1 day in duration.

To register for a scheduled class please complete the relevant training site booking form and return as instructed. Course sizes are limited to approximately 8 people to ensure a quality hands-on learning experience. Seats should be reserved at least four weeks in advance.

Foundation in CCTV

Honeywell's popular foundation CCTV course is ideal for anyone at work in the industry needing to update their skills. This course offers a balance of classroom theory and hands-on practical tuition.

Fusion IP

Utilising Honeywell’s Fusion III v3.6 DVR you will develop all the skill necessary to install, commission and maintain a Hybrid IP system. It is a prerequisite of this course that you have some IP CCTV experience.

IP CCTV  

This is a NEW extended course which lasts 2 days this course builds on the success of the previous foundation in IP CCTV by adding more time to experience the practical aspects of IP CCTV. The course will provide an understanding of the issues involved in integrating CCTV and data networks. Aspects covered will include standard IP camera technology, Mega Pixel cameras, addressing, Ethernet, routers, PoE, Bandwidth

Access Control Hardware

This comprehensive course will provide an insight into the different Honeywell access control panels. For correct selection and application this is an ideal course as a prelude to the Win-PAK training modules.

WIN-PAK SE® 

WIN-PAK SE is the Introduction to Honeywell’s most popular systems integration access control solution. The course covers WIN-PAK SE, N1000 Hardware and Fusion integration.

WIN-PAK PE®

Fusion ANPR

Automatic Number Pate Recognition (ANPR) systems are widely used, learn how to select and position the most appropriate camera; to enable accurate reading, for controlling and alerting of vehicle number plates. Linked into Honeywell’s Fusion III v3.5 DVR you will develop all the skill necessary to install, commission and maintain an ANPR system.

Video Analytics

Video analytics have revolutionised the way Video Motion Detection systems within CCTV work. You will understand the methodology and deployment to achieve detection of suspicious activities.

Foundation in Access

This course will introduce the basic concepts of access control with hands on experience of Honeywell's NStar and NetAXS™ range of control panels.

Understanding resolution in analogue and IP CCTV systems

This is a half day course which provides an insight into the Operational requirements of Rotakin, measuring effective resolution, TVL and digital resolution.

Performance Range

This is a half day introduction to Honeywell Performance range of cameras and DVR. You will have a full hand on approach to programming, operation and maintenance of these products.
