Users

When selecting which system fits your application, consider the number of users that will be enrolled into the system, how quickly users must be enrolled into the system, and the kind of users that will occupy the building.

The number of users may not be the only requirement to consider. Consider the user enrollment requirements for a campus environment. During class enrollment, there may be hundreds of people to process during a short time period. This may require multiple enrollment stations and ID badge printing.

Classifying Groups of Users

Similar people access buildings in similar ways. For example, a group of people who work in the manufacturing side of the building have different access requirements than a group of people who work in the administration section of the building. The system can classify each of these groups to operate the system in similar ways. Classified groups of people share what may be called Access Levels, Authority Levels, User Groups, or User Profiles.

In the table below, choose a system to see more about equipment requirements and suggestions suitable for the application.
