Supervisor First

Most facilities require Supervisors to be on site before allowing employees into the building. In addition, because the system can unlock selected doors according to a schedule, it is possible for visitors to enter the building before employees arrive.

Examples of conditions that cause supervisors to be late are:

• Weather conditions
• Traffic and commuting conditions
• Sickness and health conditions
• Other emergencies

If your application requires a higher level of security so that employees are not allowed to enter before a supervisor is present, consider the following items when planning your system:

• Disallow entry until the security system is disarmed

• Allow only supervisors to disarm the security system

• Allow doors to hold open on a schedule only if the security system is disarmed
