The system
can respond differently to requests for access based upon the time of day, day
of the week, or date of the year.
Schedules allow employee shift modifications
to match changing building policies throughout the day.
For example, the manufacturing
area remains occupied with rotating shifts of employees, therefore the system
must allow access to selected individuals at particular times of day. In
contrast, the administration office may only be occupied between 7 am and 6 pm,
Monday through Friday, and should remain secured all other times.
