I purchase Honeywell products from distributors other than ADI. Will these sales count towards the programme?

Only purchases performed through participating distributors will be counted. Please contact your regional Honeywell Sales Representative for further information.

What can the Marketing Development Fund (MDF) be spent on and how will it be paid?

The Marketing Development Fund can be used for a large range of marketing activities aimed at growing your business with Honeywell. This may include, but is not limited to, Dealer Days, contribution to trade show stands and events, tailored Honeywell marketing literature and/or materials and many more. In all cases, MDF funded activities will have to be pre-approved by Honeywell Security. Payment will be made upon invoices/proof of execution submission to Honeywell Security. Please liaise with your regional Honeywell sales representative for further information.

I only purchase Honeywell Intrusion products. Will this prevent me from becoming a Silver or Gold Partner?

Although purchasing from multiple Honeywell product ranges is one of the fastest ways to get to the next partner tier level, purchasing in only one product range (Video, Access or Intruder) absolutely does not prevent a Partner from reaching the highest partner tier levels.Tier assessment is based on a mix of criteria which includes purchases in each single Honeywell product range.

Are the Advanced Replacement & DVR Loan benefits applicable to the warranted life of the selected products?

The Advanced Replacement Programme is applicable for 12 months from the date of purchase, whereas the DVR Loan Programme is applicable for the full product warranty period

What is the Lead Generation Programme and how are the leads distributed to Partners?

The Honeywell lead generation programme gathers a set of marketing and sales activities aimed at providing new qualified sales opportunities to our Partners. This includes, but is not limited to, trade exhibitions, customer events, developing vertical markets through the Honeywell verticals programme, Honeywell web site inquiries, ...
Qualified leads are circulated according to compatibility between the lead and the partner profile (i.e. product or solution skills, geography, etc)

Is there a minimum requirement for being part of the Honeywell Security Channel Partner Programme?

There are no requirements to join the programme at a “Registered Partner” level. To progress further to Bronze there is a minimum of 10.000 € spend per year on Honeywell products & solutions purchases which can be across any product area Video/Intrusion/Access. To move to Silver and Gold levels of the program other targets apply, please speak to a Honeywell Sales Representative.

How is my tier level determined?

Each Channel Partner is evaluated though a score card. The score card measures 2 main criteria:

i) Sales performance : purchases volume level, cross selling between the different Honeywell product ranges, Honeywell share of wallet within the partner business-
ii) Loyalty and commitment : training and product knowledge, business history with Honeywell and Honeywell brand exposure/visibility within partner business offer

Sales Performance and Loyalty&Commitment account for 60% and 40% of the final score respectively.

The top 5% score Channel Partners are classified as Gold, the next 15% as Silver, and the next 80% as Bronze.

How can I get to the next program tier level (i.e. from Registered to Bronze > Silver > Gold)?

Channel Partners would need to increase their score (see Question 6). The fastest way of doing so is from increasing purchases, adding a new product range to current purchases and training more staff on Honeywell products and solutions

Is my tier level granted for the full year? Can I be downgraded/or upgraded in the course of the year?

Channel Partner tier levels are granted for the full year. Every January, Honeywell will evaluate all Channel Partners through the score card and grant a yearly Channel Partner tier level.
Tier upgrades are possible in July if the Channel Partner requests it; Honeywell will re-assess the Channel Partner score at that time.

Welcome pack content will depend on the Channel Partner tier level as follow

When and how are my rebates paid?

The sales rebate is paid in February for the previous year’s sales performance.
The Marketing Development Fund is paid on receipt of pre-approved activity invoice and proof of execution.
Both rebates are credited on the Channel Partner account (Channel Partner account with the programme participating distributor, or Channel Partner account with Honeywell when the Channel Partner has a direct account with Honeywell Security). Payments are not performed in cash or cheques.
