Q. Can I use the Honeywell brand in my own sales and marketing materials?

Q. Can I use the Honeywell logo on my business card?

A. No.  The Honeywell logo may NOT be used on business cards, badges, or any other object or product typically used in connection with company identification.

Q. What can I say about my relationship to Honeywell?

A. You can say that you sell Honeywell Security Products, are a Honeywell Security Products dealer, or a dealer of Honeywell Security Products. It must be clear to your prospect or customer that you are an independent dealer and not related to any Honeywell company.

Q. Can I use the Honeywell brand in my telemarketing program?

A. Absolutely.  However, you cannot say or imply that you are employed by or are an authorized representative of Honeywell.  What you can say is stated in the answer to the previous question.

A. No, it cannot.

Q. Can I be listed as Honeywell in the Yellow Pages?

A. No.  However you may use the Honeywell logo in your ad, in accordance with the ID standards.

Q. Do I need to submit my artwork to someone for approval?

 A. No, you just need to review and submit the online logo usage agreement and follow the simple guidelines when using the logo.  This is available at www.security.honeywell.com/news/use_logo.html

Q. Can I put the Honeywell logo on premium items, like hats or shirts?

 A. No. The Honeywell logo may NOT be used on business cards, badges, clothing, hats or any type of apparel, or physical displays such as lawn signs or vehicle emblems, or any object or product typically used in connection with company identification

Q. Do I have to sign anything to use the logo?

A. There is no handwritten signature required.  However, to use the Honeywell logo in sales and marketing material, you must submit a click-through agreement on Honeywell Security’s website at www.security.honeywell.com/news/ss/register.html.
