Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Dec 5, 2011 – Honeywell (NYSE: HON) today
announced that it will showcase its latest innovations in advanced security
platforms at the Intersec tradeshow taking place at the Dubai International
Convention and Exhibition Centre from January 15 – 17, 2012 – Honeywell
stand #: 3-605C.
The new MaxPro® Video Management System will be demonstrated
live via the Command & Control Center, capturing real time data from the new
2 Megapixel H.264 Performance IP series cameras and Network
Video Recorders (NVRs). Honeywell’s IP portfolio incorporates a powerful video
management platform along with a comprehensive offering in recording solutions,
including the latest IP networks, data and video analytics that utilize an open
architecture to provide ultimate flexibility to end user companies around the
world.
Honeywell’s Pro-Watch 3.81 solution will be demonstrated
live via the Command Center, with several new software enhancements to its
Security Management System that allow organizations to more easily add doors to
their access control systems. By using a new Power-over-Ethernet (PoE)
single-door controller, organizations can add one door at a time to an existing
Pro-Watch system, which makes the technology more suitable for companies looking
for a cost-effective way to expand their access control systems.
Honeywell’s latest software tool, Honeywell Software Development Kit (HSDK),
helps integrators tie together commercial security technology such as the
Pro-Watch platform into larger building automation systems. Using graphical
programming, HSDK eliminates the need to manually write code when designing
integrated systems that tie security technology together with building systems
such as secondary fire, lighting and heating, ventilation and air conditioning
(HVAC). This approach can significantly reduce the time needed to design
integrated building systems from days to a matter of hours. Powered by the
NiagaraAX Framework® from Tridium, HSDK is available to authorized Honeywell
Integrated Security (HIS) integrators who specify the company’s Pro-Watch®
security management system. Pro-Watch streamlines security by bringing together
access control, intrusion and video on a common platform.
WIN-PAK SE/PE 2.0 offers complete enhanced Digital Video
Integration to Honeywell Rapid Eye, Fusion and HRDP "Performance Series" Digital
Video Recorders (DVRs). Integration allows video to be linked to both access
control and Galaxy intrusion events and alarms. Video clips can easily be
recalled through the software, based on time or event. With integration, users
can have complete camera control, including pan, tilt and zoom, and can verify
live users with stored images using the video verification option. WIN-PAK
combines access control, digital video and intrusion into one powerful system
that improves scalability, capability and control of your security solution.
WIN-PAK can be used to program, operate and report access control events and is
available in standard and professional editions.
Honeywell’s other new product offerings is LYNX Touch, one

bright, color touch screen that makes home security more intuitive and easier
