A Honeywell Blind & Curtain Control Switch basically
has up/down and open/close functions. Besides, by supporting an RS485
communication, it can be connected with other home network systems.
In addition to these functions, a Honeywell Blind & Curtain Control
Switch has the following key functions.
 Features
Blind & Curtain Control
- There are 2 kinds of Blinds & Curtain Control
Switches, with 1/2 blinds or curtains.
- Basically, a Blind & Curtain Control Switch can change the state of
the blind or curtain which is connected to each group to the up/down or
open/close state.
Scene Control
- A Blind & Curtain Control Switch has a scenario
function. So, if there is a request for this function by a home network system
or a remote controller the blind or the curtain more than one is
simultaneously controlled in accordance with the previously specified
scenario.
- At this time, a home network system and a remote
controller assign only a SCENE ID.
- The actions of each scenario have already been
specified and stored in the Blind & Curtain Control Switch.
- The scenario can be designated with a home network system or a remote
controller and, its maximum number is 8.
Event Report
- Since a Blind & Curtain Control Switch can create events
dynamically, in case of there being any changes in the switch by inputs with
a group button or scenario actions, it notices these events to a home
network system actively.
Status Display
- The status LEDs of Blind & Curtain Control Switch are of state
normally and turned on when users press its group button.
Remote Control
- An IrDA receiver attached to a Blind & Curtain Control Switch
enables to receive control commands from a remote controller. Therefore, if
any commands are issued from the remote controller the Blind & Curtain
Control Switches executes those commands accordingly.
Mood Lamp
- A mood lamp built in a Blind & Curtain Control
Switch helps to easily find a Blind & Curtain Control Switch during the
night time and to produce a dim atmosphere.
- You can choose any one of red, blue, and ember as a
mood lamp color according to the background color of a Blind & Curtain
Control Switch.
- Users can turn on/off a mood lamp and adjust its brightness up to 10
steps according to their preferences.
