IP Downloading UVS    

6271

In this class you will learn about the 6271C, 6271CV, and the 6271V TouchCenter Graphic Keypads. It will allow you to become familiar with many aspects of 6271 installation. Know the details of the 6271 wiring, setup, and enabling the alarm panel. And finally you will learn how to change the custom background.

GSM Communication

In this class you will learn how to complete new and replacement installations with the AlarmNet GSM radio. Upon completion you will have a good understanding of the GSM network, proper wiring, correct placement, control and radio programming, registration of the radio, and troubleshooting.

Compass Software - Basic

Those attending this class should be familiar with Windows 98/XP® type operating systems and terms pertaining to Windows®. This class is design to help new and current users of Compass. We will cover basic installation procedures for a PC, setting up modems, adding customers, creating templates, screen options/definitions, and communications with Honeywell panels. Upon completion of this class, new users will experience fewer complications while current users become more proficient with our software.

Compass Software - Advanced

This class is recommended for those who have already taken the "Compass Basic" Class. This class is designed to help those attending have a more in-depth knowledge of the software. Some of the information will include: Unattended mode, Network Setup, Importing and Exporting accounts, Deleting accounts, Restoring and Purging accounts, Database maintenance, Troubleshooting and Programming outputs and schedules. Upon completion of this class, users will be able to use and maintain their software in a more efficient manor.

Honeywell Alarm Basics

This class will provide an understanding of basic burglar and fire alarm systems, components of the systems, output and input devices and how they communicate. This class will help security related employees understand basic alarm and fire systems. There are no prerequisites for attending this class.

IP Downloading

This class is recommended for those who have already taken the "Compass Basic" Class. In this class you will learn the features and benefits of downloading Honeywell Alarm Panels using the Compass Downloading software via broadband internet.

Lynx Series

This class will cover the LynxR-i, LynxR, and LynxR-EN Basic and advanced programming features of the Lynx control panels will be covered. You will also be presented with programming scenarios, which apply in real world installations. The class is designed for individuals that may be new to the Lynx and/or the alarm industry. Basic knowledge of wiring and the alarm industry is all you will need to benefit from the Lynx web class. Upon completion, you will be able to perform a typical Lynx install.

Optiflex          

In this class you will learn a whole new way to look at security. Optiflex is a Video Look in device that allows Local or Secure Remote viewing on LAN or Across Internet. The class will cover installation guidelines, software setup/operation and Internet connectivity. After completing this class you will have the knowledge needed to confidently complete an installation.

Symphony

This class will provide a better understanding of Honeywell Security’s Color touchscreen console. The Symphony is a graphical touch screen that will simplify a homeowner’s security operation via fingertip. The class will cover panel compatibility, installation guidelines, programming and Internet connectivity. Upon completion of this class you will be well acquainted with the keypad features, in addition to having the knowledge needed to install and service the product.

Total Connect Introduction WebCast

This class is intended for those familiar with AlarmNet Internet and GSM products. Intro to Total Connect will provide an understanding of how Total Connect Remote Services can fit into your business model and build RMR with your customer base. It also provides basic capabilities and setup instruction. Recommended prerequisites for this class are GSM Communication course or prior experience with GSM installation.

Total Connect Advanced WebCast – NEW

This class is intended for those who understand what Total Connect is and its benefits to each customer. We will provide instruction for setting up the Total Connect Remote Control Interface in "Full Mode"; as well as email messaging setup and SMS control operation. Recommended prerequisites for this class are GSM Communication or prior experience with GSM installation and Total Connect Introduction course.

UVS

Honeywell's Universal Voice System is a standalone intercom system for indoor/outdoor communication. This system can be used for Two-way audio verification to reduce false alarms, intercom, baby monitor, speakerphone, and entrance way visitor screening. Upon completion, you should be able to complete a typical UVS installation with little or no assistance.

VISTA-10P

This class will cover many of the panel’s features. New programming locations will be discussed in detail. Output programming will be covered along with the new security code protocols. Thorough knowledge of Honeywell VISTA series panels will insure that you get the most out of this class. Many of the common VISTA panel features will NOT be covered. Upon completion, you should be able to complete a typical VISTA-10P install with little or no assistance.
