Passive Infrared Motion Sensor provides reliable detection with pet immunity up
to 40 pounds and is ideal for both residential and light commercial
applications. Optimum performance is achieved by using Uniform Sensitivity
Optics and Advanced ASIC-based processing.

Flexible Mounting
Mount the sensor at either
7.5 feet or 10 feet. It surface mounts on walls, corners, or angles using the
optional swivel mount bracket.
Zero-Clearance Black Bug Guard
A patented
black bug guard prevents bugs or dust from entering the optic chamber while
increasing white light immunity.
Slim, Attractive Design
The sleek, sturdy
housing fits into a variety of building styles and blends with any décor. ABS
plastic is used for shock and impact protection. The housing offers a convenient
wiring channel, knockouts for mounting and wiring and easy access to wiring
terminals.
Look-down Zone
The IS-2260 has a detection
zone beneath the sensor. This feature should not be used in sites with pets.
Highly-visible LED Tamper Protection
The
IS-2260T can detect attempts to open or damage the sensor’s housing.
Selectable Sensitivity
Three sensitivity
settings let you configure the sensor to suit the specific needs of the site. If
the protected area contains pets, choose the standard setting. If the intruder
is likely to cross only a small portion of the protected area, choose the
intermediate setting. If the site’s conditions are extreme and call for
additional false-alarm immunity, select the harsh setting.
Uniform Sensitivity Optics
With its
custom-designed Fresnel lens, the IS-2260 can detect an intruder at the edge of
the protected area as easily as an intruder directly in front of the sensor.
Wide-Angle and Curtain Lenses
With the
wide-angle lens installed, the IS-2260 can detect movement across an 60' x 120'
(18m x 36m) area. The range of the curtain lens is 100' x 20' (30.5m x 6m).
Effective in Hot or Cold Environments
The
IS-2260 is capable of functioning normally in a wide range of environments:
rooms as cold as 14° F (–10° C) or as hot as 122° F (50° C). Its advanced
dual-slope temperature compensation gives the sensor the ability to detect
intruders in rooms that are slightly above or below body
temperature. |
