Honeywell’s LYNXDM-GSM is an easy-to-install option for the LYNXR-I self-contained security system that provides an integrated GSM radio in a tabletop or wall mount configuration. The LYNXDM-GSM includes a GSM (Global System for Mobile) digital cellular communicator that delivers secure, reliable and complementary digital communications via the GSM network. This ground-breaking communications solution offers full alarm data reporting and uploading/downloading when used with LYNXR-I. Power and up to 24-hours of standby battery backup for the LYNXDM-GSM, is provided by the LYNXR-I.

The LYNXDM-GSM is a perfect solution for customers that require alternative communications to traditional telephone lines in their homes or businesses and want to take advantage of the quick installation and powerful end-user features of the LYNXR-I.

All signals are delivered to Honeywell’s AlarmNet Network Control Center which routes the information to the appropriate central station. The state of the art AlarmNet Network Control Center is fully redundant and monitored 24/7. AlarmNet has the ability to route messages using the AlarmNet-i and 800 Plus services, providing true redundancy and multi-path message delivery.

• Intelligent Supervision–Use of any message generated as supervision message per optional 24-hour or 30-day intervals. This feature effectively limits required messages to be sent.
